Is this the first time I book in a B&B, is it different from a hotel?

How can I make a reservation?
It is possible to check availability and make a reservation directly through our website at “check availability” .

We guarantee security thanks to the adoption of the maximum encryption level with 256bit SSL certificate.

Is it possible to book by phone or email?
Of course, if you wish to contact us by phone we will handle the booking for you.
I noticed that your price is lower than what I paid via Booking.com or Expedia, can I book directly with you?
The online travel agencies like Booking.com or Expedia, work on commission, so it is normal that the booking made through their intermediation is more expensive.
Can I cancel a booking made with Booking.com or Expedia and rebook with you?
Ethically we can not recommend to do so, but technically it is possible, but first we suggest you check whether you have chosen a non refundable tariff, in that case you can not make any change to the reservation without penalty.
I have not received any confirmation email, is this normal?
The reservation is always finalized by sending a confirmation email or summary. If you have not received it we suggest you check the Spam folder.

Is a credit card required?

To make a booking a credit card is required, no charge will be performed remotely, you will pay the total on-site. The credit card is required to secure the reservation.

In case of no-show at check-in or cancellation outside the free cancellation period, we will proceed with the charge.

If you do not have a credit card to be given to guarantee your reservation, contact us and we will find the right solution for you.

What is the difference between flexible and non-refundable rates?
The non-refundable rate includes no free cancellation period, the system will show the wording “advance payment” but in reality we will not make any charge except in case you decide to cancel the reservation.

The flexible rate allows you to cancel your reservation up to 7 days before check-in. Beyond this period of tolerance you commit yourself to respect the booking, otherwise the entire amount of the stay will be paid.

What time is it possible to check in?
Check-in is from 14:00 to 20:00, and it is necessary to communicate your check-in time in advance . If at time of booking not yet know your expected arrival time, please let us know as soon as possible and no later than the morning of arrival.

For guests who book directly with us, we offer free early check-in based on availability, however we do everything to please our guests and guarantee the best service.

If your plane were to land in the evening hours, please contact us  to verify the possibility of being able to check-in after 20:00.

What time is check-out scheduled?
Check-out is by 11:00.
Cleaning
Is room cleaning included?
Certainly, we provide thorough cleaning every day after breakfast.
Are there towels, sheets, sheets?
Certainly, you do not have to bring anything.
Is there a courtesy kit?
Yes, we provide shower shampoo, soap, hair caps
Parking
PhotoGuest B & B has a parking lot?
Parking is public and free without time constraints throughout the area and is very easy to find.
Can you help me with parking?
We will be glad to help you if you need it, let us know your arrival and we will take care of the parking ourselves.
Is the PhotoGuest B&B in a restricted traffic area?
The only ZTL area (limited traffic zone) in Syracuse is the island of Ortigia. PhotoGuest is only 650 meters from the island of Ortigia so you can easily reach us by car and park for free.
How to get
Arrival by car
The B&B PhotoGuest is easily accessible by car, just enter our address on your browser or click here. For those who are wondering, Google maps works great in Sicily!
Arrival by bus
B&B PhotoGuest is a 5-minute walk from the Bus Terminal. Some buses also include stops in Corso Gelone, in this case we are just 30 meters from the stop. The reference companies are Interbus and AST. On the relative websites you will find the racing schedule.

If you arrive from Catania airport, the bus is the most convenient choice. There are trips every 60 minutes up to 20:40 in the evening and stop at Corso Gelone (check with the driver).

For arrivals from Palermo we suggest the Interbus company that makes direct runs. The stop is at the bus terminal.

Arrival by train
B&B PhotoGuest is a 4-minute walk from the train station. Besides being close (opposite the bus terminal), there is also a shortcut. To take the shortcut you will not have to leave the station, continue on foot following the tracks and a pedestrian lane will take you directly to Corso Gelone, all you have to do is turn left and you will already have arrived.
